Northern California is Beautiful All Year Around

The California Coastline is magnificent from Santa Barbara to Crescent City at the Oregon Border below the giant redwood trees. From San Luis Obispo through Big Sur towards Santa Cruz is some of the most scenic landscape in all the world. And there are plenty of excellent bed and breakfast places to stay along the way, once you go there, you never want to leave.

In San Francisco the view of the Golden Gate Bridge is stunning and once you cross and head back towards the coast it's just amazing to drive North along the Russian River. The Mountain Range between the coast and the Valley is stunning as well, with forest that seem to go forever. Then there is Mount Shasta and Shasta Lake. Then there is the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, as majestic, even more so than the other.

Having had the pleasure to spend lots of time in all these places throughout the great state of California, all I can say is that it is breathtaking and if you would like to learn some of what I have experienced, I recommend that you buy the best travel book of Northern California, I have ever purchased:

"Away for the Weekend; Great Getaways for Every Season of the Year" (Northern California Revised and Updated Edition) by Eleanor Berman; Three Rivers Press, New York, NY; 2000

If you feel you need to de-stress and get away for a weekend or two, or three, then you need to purchase this informative book and study the pictures and the sites and see Northern California and experience it's true beauty. Think on this, you deserve it.
